Recently, I have been having bad hot flashes.
I am in my mid fifties, so I guess it is about that time if you know what I mean.
I really didn’t think the day would could where I started to have bad hot flashes, but here we are. My husband is starting to get annoyed with me because I keep the thermostat in the house set to sixty seven degrees. He is so dramatic and is always walking around the house in a large winter coat to try and prove a point. However, if I don’t have the air conditioner blasting I am literally sweating through my clothes. I have talked to my doctor about it and he said the hot flashes should pass in a couple of months and that my husband is just going to have to deal with the air conditioner blasting until the hot flashes stop. I hope they stop sooner than a couple of months because I know our energy bill is going to be through the roof if I keep the air conditioner going like I have been for the past few weeks. I know that it is also making my HVAC system work harder than normal so that can’t be great either. I don’t like having the air conditioner run like this, but I will be in a terrible mood if I am covered in sweat while in my own home. I am praying these hot flashes end soon!
