I just really did not know that that was an option or I probably would have been doing it.
The pollen has been so bad around here this year that I’m going to have to buy new air filters to last us for the rest of the summer. I found out the other day that there is something called an anti allergen air filter that you can use in your heating and cooling system at home and it really helps to filter out some of the allergens and pollens that get sucked into the air in your home. Prior to that, I thought that all air filters were exactly the same. As a matter of fact, whenever I would go into the heating and cooling products aisle at the home improvement store, I would just grab the exact same air filter that I’ve always had. I thought that it was the only one that would work in my heating and cooling system for some reason. Apparently though, that is not the case at all. I guess there are all kinds of different air filters that you can buy to put into your house and I should have been using an anti allergen air filter all along. I just really did not know that that was an option or I probably would have been doing it. The way that my allergies have been bothering me this year, it definitely would have been helpful! I don’t know why I never really thought about it before but it just wasn’t something that ever crossed my mind. I guess I just always thought that an air filter was an air filter and that’s all that there was to it. From now on, though, I am going to be replacing my air filters on a regular basis throughout the summer. Not only that, but they are going to be pollen reducing anti allergen air filters!
