Fall is one of my favorite seasons.
The beautiful leaves turn pretty colors and fall off the trees, decorating the yards around them.
Where I live, the weather becomes very comfortable and there is no need for an air conditioner to keep the temperature perfect, during that time of year. In fact, the weather is so amazing, that often we forget that winter is coming. One year, the first snow came in the middle of the night, surprising us all. The next morning, we turned on the furnace to warm up our frigid house. However, we had forgotten to have the furnace serviced, and it would only blow cold air. Thankfully, it warmed up outside, which melted the snow, so the house didn’t stay cold for too long. But that day we called the HVAC provider and asked them to send someone over to service our furnace. The HVAC technician arrived promptly. Shortly after, our furnace was blowing warm air, heating up our house. We realized how important it is to always service our furnace in preparation for winter. If the snow hadn’t melted and the temperature had dropped severely, it could have become a really bad situation. After that, we always remembered to call the HVAC provider and ask them to service the furnace ahead of time. It’s such a simple thing to do. So simple, in fact, it’s easily forgotten. Remember to enjoy fall this year, with the cooling weather and the lovely scenery. But don’t forget to get your furnace serviced in preparation for the coming winter weather. You’ll be grateful when the warm air from your furnace is heating your house, while you snuggle on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa.
