AC service is necessary

After buying a house, moving in and unpacking, it took me a while to schedule repair for the cooling system.

There was cleaning and painting to do, repairs to make and lots of expenses.

My friend and I needed a current water heater, realized there was no insulation in the attic and found that multiple of the power outlets weren’t working. There were issues with plugged drains, leaky faucets and a smoking oven. I was truly concerned by a musty stink that I couldn’t get rid of. I devoted a great deal of time to bleaching floors, countertops, sinks, toilets and tubs. I washed windows, laundered curtains and beddings and even scrubbed the walls. I couldn’t get rid of that odor. When I finally got around to setting up service for the cooling system, I learned the source of that stink. The inside of the cooling component was completely overrun with mold, mildew, algae, bacteria and dust, every time the cooling system started up, those contaminants were becoming airborne and getting circulated throughout the house. My family was breathing them in. It’s no surprise that my adolescents were sneezing and complaining of headaches. My hubby was having difficulty sleeping and I was consistently plugged, then fortunately a thorough cleaning, adjustment and tuning performed by the Heating and Air Conditioning professional significantly improved the hygiene, stink and comfort of our current home. I also invested into duct system cleaning and sealing. Because of these intensive services, the cooling system now puts out a lot more air, doesn’t need to run as often and uses less energy. My weekly electric bills are significantly lower.
