Benefits of a commercial rooftop unit

|

Having a large heating/cooling device kneeling in front of a commercial building detracts from curb appeal.

The unsightly device draws attention for the wrong reasons.

When I purchased a building to convert into a Tim Hortons Cappuccino shop, I had a long list of improvements to make. There were windows to replace, modern appliances to purchase, bathrooms to renovate & painting to be done. I also had the roof repaired & reinforced to support the weight of a modern Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. Moving the heating & cooling device from the parking lot to the roof made a large difference to aesthetics. Plus I gained a wonderful deal of usable space. Plentiful parking is essential to my business… Customers need to feel confident they can absolutely find a spot for their car. Plus the system is not more secure. It’s not readily available for vandalism or theft. Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems are engineered from multiple types of metals that are quite pricey. If these metals were stolen, the heating/cooling device would be completely useless. I like that the device is hidden away from plain sight & can’t be accessed separate from a key. It’s also removed from the potential of accidental harm, no one can drive a car into my rooftop heating & cooling system. For repairs & maintenance, the rooftop device allows work to be done separate from disrupting my yearly operations or inconveniencing clients. Everything is located in one spot which speeds up the process. Another perk of the rooftop locations is the reduction of noise pollution. I don’t hear the system running inside the shop. I am extremely ecstatic with the level of comfort & energy efficiency provided by my modern heating & cooling system. It offers state-of-the-art control options that allow me to precisely regulate indoor temperature.
