Yesterday my associate and I experienced a devastating hurricane! My associate and I knew that the hurricane was coming and tried to prepare as much as my associate and I possibly could, but nothing would prepare us for the hurricane that was plowing towards our town, however i talked with my fiance about if he wanted to evacuated, my associate and I were pretty close to the beach and it could be seriously dangerous for us to stay while the storm is raging on.
There could be a flash flood, a fallen tree or the roof could potentially ripped off of our house. After a long discussion my associate and I decided it would be best for us to leave and go stay with my parents for the duration of the storm. My associate and I boarded up the home and made sure everything that could be blown away was put inside. My associate and I left the home with an ominous feeling not knowing what my associate and I might come home to in a few afternoons. After the storm passed my associate and I were upset to get back and survey our home. To our surprise the only disfigurement my associate and I had was to our Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning system was completed water logged and it would most likely have to be upgraded. I will have to call the Heating as well as Air Conditioning corporation to see how my associate and I should transport forward, but I feel fortunate that the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system was the only thing in our home disfigurementd during the poor hurricane. Many other families lost much more than their Heating as well as Air Conditioning systems and I suppose our insurance will cover the cost of having the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system upgraded, at least I hope that is the case.
