My family has always been one to do things together because it was a culture my husband and I decided to start with our family. We had both been brought up in families where people hardly did anything together because of tight schedules. This had affected us so that we did not want the same happening to our kids, so we proposed early to start a business that would allow us as much time as we needed to spend time with the kids. Luckily, the business flourished, and we could afford to hire workers to work for us even when we were not present. This meant that we could plan for activities that would involve our son and two daughters. We traveled together and even spent time at home playing games, having cooking content, and anything that would foster the bond between us. So this weekend, we were scheduled to upgrade the heating and cooling system in the house. On the list, the HVAC technician recommended working on the insulation first. We had consulted with the HVAC business professionals, who gave us several options. We decided to go for the self-installation options and have the kids help out. The AC expert was around to offer the necessary guidance we needed, but most of the work would be handled by us. By the end of the project, we all learned a thing or two about insulation and strengthened our teamwork abilities. The HVAC expert could not believe how diligent we had been. The rest of the upgrade was left for professionals to continue with, but we had handled a major part of it, and he was proud of us.
