There’s no need to overuse heating & cooling systems

|

Yesterday, my partner & I arrived from our camping trip in the mountains, & since we’ve been living rough for nearly a week, sleeping in a bed felt like heaven. I slept like a baby, & this afternoon I had my cup of organic black coffee, which I’ve been looking forward to ever since I tried that bad instant coffee Frankenstein substance. I have a few more hours of work to do online before I have to go to my number one seaside town with my lady to have dinner at the beach, but yesterday was the Summer solstice, meaning that it was the longest afternoon & the shortest night of the year. With the arrival of Summer comes the use of cooling systems in homes & businesses. The concern is that people are insensitive to the fact that temperature change is a major concern for civilization & my associate and I need to use our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems efficiently. But all the shops, cafes, & supermarkets are cranking up the a/c units like crazy. It’s not healthy either; excessive or prolonged use of cooling system at high settings can cause dryness & irritation, respiratory problems, temperature extremes, & so on. I was having a coffee in a cafe last month, & the cooling system’s setting was so high that I had to leave after about 30 minutes because I was cold & didn’t have a jumper with me! Conversely, the same thing happens in winter season with Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems. In fact, when my partner & I go to the mountains, my associate and I appreciate to eat at apartment next to the fireplace because my associate and I know that the restaurants will have the central heating on full blast & my associate and I would not feel comfortable.
